Fort Lauderdale - Bonnett House

The house and gardens of this winter retreat of the Bartlett and Birch families was stunning.... The home was designed and built by Frederic Clay Bartlett.... he had an eclectic collection that has been taken care of by the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation..... A fee of $20 was well worth it as the docent did a fabulous job with both the furnishings and the estate itself.....

St. Petersburg - Chihuly Museum

 From these glorious photos, I hope you can tell that this Museum is well worth a visit.... It is not huge so if possible, combine it with an exhibition of glass blowing nearby.... Update:  The Museum has moved a few blocks away.... It now has PLENTY of room.... it also has some wonderful videos to show the process for these amazing works....
